Below are some highlights on upcoming events planned at Deer Valley® Resort. For more information check out the full calendar of events here  

  • June 30th: Patriotic Celebration starring Rachel Potter
    • Celebrate America the beautiful with Broadway, country music, and The X-Factor star Rachel Potter as she performs hits from Broadway and your red, white, and blue favorites. 
  • July 6th: Disney in Concert: A Silly Symphony Celebration
    • Spread out a blanket and gather your friends and family for a tuneful and colorful celebration of 75 groundbreaking cartoons produced at the Walt Disney Studios between 1929 and 1939. During the production of these Academy Award-winning shorts, Walt perfected the skills essential to the creation of his first feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), with developments in the use of color, special effects, character animation, music, and storytelling that continue to influence the art of animation today. Now, 85 years after their debut, Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies return to the big screen to delight audiences of all ages, accompanied for the first time ever by their original musical scores performed live by the Utah Symphony. 
  • July 7th: Broadway Hits By Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber
    • Enjoy Broadway favorites from legendary composers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim, including music from Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sweeny Todd, Company, West Side Story, and more.
       
  • July 13th: Abba The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA with the Utah Symphony
    • Enjoy music from the Utah Symphony with a tribute concert to ABBA. 
  • July 14th: Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder with the Utah Symphony
    • Fifteen-time Grammy award winning artist Ricky Skaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder join the Utah Symphony for a thrilling evening of Bluegrass under the stars. 
  • July 20th: Rick Springfield with the Utah Symphony
    • Dance the night away with GRAMMY®-winning singer/songwriter Rick Springfield – whose chart-topping hits include “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I've Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch” all performed with the Utah Symphony. 
  • July 27th: Amos Lee with the Utah Symphony
    • Experience a night under the stars with Soulful singer-songwriter Amos Lee as he makes his Utah Symphony debut performing songs from his acclaimed album Spirit, along with fan favorites from his breakthrough album Mission Bell and more. 

  • July 28th: The Music of John Williams
    • Experience a thrilling night under the stars featuring music from John Williams greatest film scores, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. 

  • August 9th: Gavin Degraw | Phillip Phillips
    • Gavin DeGraw is a multi-platinum selling singer, performer and songwriter. He first broke through with the 2003 release of his debut album, Chariot, which sold over one million copies, earned platinum certification, and yielded three hit singles; “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through,” and the title-track, “Chariot.” Gavin’s self-titled second album debuted at number one on the digital sales chart and at number seven on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008, earning Gavin his first top ten album. Gavin’s fifth studio album, Something Worth Saving, released in 2016 through his longtime label RCA Records, featured the hit single “She Sets The City On Fire.” DeGraw is currently on the road touring and working on new music.
    • Since releasing his five-times platinum debut single "Home" in spring 2012, Phillip Phillips has released two chart-topping albums and taken his expansive brand of earthy, guitar-fueled rock to stages across the globe. With his soulful vocals and ruggedly warm sensibilities, the Georgia-bred 26-year-old saw his first full-length effort, The World from the Side of the Moon, go platinum after debuting at number four on the Billboard Top 200. In 2014, his second album, Behind the Light, offered up the lead anthemic folk-rock radio hit "Raging Fire." Phillips released “Miles” in the summer of 2017 as he toured North America with the Goo Goo Dolls, as a precursor to his recent and highly anticipated third full-length, Collateral. Collateral was released January 19, 2018, and also includes the recent single, “Into The Wild” and fan favorite, “Magnetic." Phillips recently wrapped a North American headline tour. 

  • August 11th: The Utah Symphony Performs Windborne's Music of Pink Floyd
    • Experience the music of Pink Floyd as the Utah Symphony and singer Randy Jackson capture the essence of Pink Floyd’s ethereal harmonies and the iconic sounds of one of the biggest rock bands of all time. The first half of the concert will feature a full orchestral performance of the album The Dark Side of the Moon, with popular hits including “Comfortably Numb,” “Another Brick in the Wall (Part II),” and “Hey You” on the second half.​

  • August 18th: Mid Mountain Marathon
    • Voted best trail marathon in Utah, the Mid Mountain Marathon is a true trail runner’s marathon. The course begins at Deer Valley Resort's Silver Lake Village, where it follows the iconic Mid Mountain Trail for nearly 20-miles. There is one last uphill push before a long, winding descent down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system, with an exciting finish at the base of the 120-meter, Olympic Nordic jump. The course rolls across the Wasatch Back, through aspen and evergreen forests, at an average elevation of 8,200′ and is largely shaded single track. Register before July 1 to guarantee that you will receive the official event t-shirt.
